This series is inspired by the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Attempting to capture the feeling of a sunset on a summer night or the sunrise on a crisp fall morning.
PNW Summer Sunrise (left) was the first piece I ever created. The subsequent pieces reflect the changing seasons as much as the changes seen in the years of developing this craft. Solder lines smoothing out and designs becoming more intricate. This series is all about the beauty of change.

PNW Summer Sunrise (left) was the first piece I ever created (see the messy solder lines and drippy bits). I started the second version of this design, PNW Autumn Sunset (right), many months later to have a visual representation of the growth, learning and skills gained as the seasons changed. If you’re just starting out, here’s a visual reminder that we all have to start somewhere.
