Custom Stained Glass Portrait

$50.00
Create your own custom couples portrait for an anniversary, wedding, or any other special day that you'd like to commemorate! Pet portraits now available as well!

Customs require a $50 down-payment/design fee that will go towards the final price. Once the deposit is placed, I will get started on the design and can provide a final quote based on level of detail, types of glass used, estimated time required, etc. Factoring in supply costs and shipping, the cost averages out to $35/hour, and portraits can take anywhere from 10-30 hours, depending on the complexity of the design.

Unfortunately, I can not provide a final quote until the design process is complete, as that allows me to identify things like how many pieces of glass will need to be cut/ground/taped, how details will be captured (copper overlay, paint, other), which parts of the reference photo will be included (detailed background/scenery vs solid background, full body vs faces), and other factors that impact time required (subjects front facing vs side profile, framed vs not, etc.)

Please inquire about paying in installments if needed! Stained Glass is a timely and expensive art form- I do my best to make my art accessible and am happy to work out a payment plan that works for you. I can accept final payment through Venmo, zelle, PayPal or through my online storefront. (Venmo preferred, to avoid those extra fees!)

Please fill out the custom form at checkout and send any reference photos by message to receive a full price estimate. Feel free to reach out beforehand with any questions!

*The deposit/design fee is nonrefundable once the drawing phase has begun. This fee covers the time spent drawing & designing the piece, any needed revisions, sourcing the glass, and communicating with the buyer. Translating a picture into glass takes a significant amount of time and effort- with many steps to determine a final price quote based on the techniques and requirements of that specific project (grinder vs ring saw, copper overlay, painted details, number of glass pieces included, etc.) Refunds can be offered BEFORE drawing begins, if buyer and seller agree that the project parameters will not work (ie. Cost, timeline, etc.)

**Please note that I often share pictures and videos of my work on social media. Let me know if you would NOT like your reference photo(s) shared!
